Backend Certificate and the Question That Follows
July 2025. My backend certificate.
I was grateful. Truly. This training gave me so much — APIs, databases, authentication — everything that powers a website behind the scenes, invisible but essential.
And then I faced a question.

I started writing my CV. Wanted to apply. Get ready.
But something didn't feel finished.
I could write clean frontend code. I could build backends. But I didn't know how to properly publish what I was building. How to ensure security. How to set up a server that doesn't collapse at the first attack. How to automate deployments so you can focus on what actually matters.
There was still a gap. And I couldn't ignore it.
My Projects from the Backend Course

Around that time, the Developer Akademie introduced a new training program: DevSecOps.
My contract had just ended and I realized there was still one critical piece I didn't fully understand: clean deployment, automation and security.
I knew that was exactly where my next step lay.
In the process, I had the opportunity to apply for a government education voucher to cover the training costs.
I submitted the application and two weeks later the approval came through.
I was incredibly happy. Not just because of the voucher, but because I knew: Now I get to learn the final piece. Now I'll truly understand the whole system.
It started right away.
