The Complete Picture

May 2026.

Three years. Three training programs. One job. One freelance project. Several personal projects. A lot of late nights.

And now I'm holding my DevSecOps certificate in my hands.


I now know how to set up and harden a server. How to automate deployments so you never have to manually connect to a server again and hope nothing breaks. How to build systems with Docker that run identically everywhere. How to develop CI/CD pipelines that automate manual processes so you can focus on what actually matters.

The picture is complete.

What comes next feels intense — and that's exactly what I want.

The application phase begins. I'll be competing against many candidates and showing why I'm exactly the right fit.

That's why I'm building both in parallel: sending applications while continuing to work as a freelancer. Not out of fear of failure, but because I never want to be in a situation again where I have to do anything other than build systems.


How long it takes doesn't matter. What matters is that I'm ready for the next step.

But I've known one thing since September 2023:

I made the right decision.
